Leave Hebden Bridge on the A646 towards Rochdale and Todmorden. Continue through Heptonstall traffic lights (no right turn) to the turning circle, reversing direction and turn left through the lights steeply up hill. Continue on this minor road and at the junction to Heptonstall continue right dropping slightly. Continue on this road for approximately 3 miles passing through Slack, Colden, Jack Bridge (New Delight pub). After two sharp turns uphill you will reach Blackshaw Head with a minor road joining from the left (Badger Lane). Continue through the village for approx 100 yards coming to Davey Lane on the left. Take this minor road and Appletree Farm Alpacas is second left down a farm Lane.
If coming from Todemorden you will pass the tuning circle on the right just prior to the Heptonstal lights and directions from this point should be followed as above.
